Three Chinese nationals were arrested after they allegedly cursed policemen manning a quarantine checkpoint in Malate, Manila on Sunday.
Pan Fei Han, 35; Huang Sigin, 41, and Xia Zhicang, 45, were taken into police custody.
Police pulled over the Chinese who were in a silver Toyota Fortuner after they reportedly failed to present a quarantine pass at the corner of Quirino Avenue and Roxas Boulevard at around 2:45 p.m.
Charges of unjust vexation, resisting arrest, disobedience to a person in authority, and driving without a license were filed against the suspects.
On Wednesday, another Chinese national was arrested in a separate incident after the suspect allegedly insulted the Brgy. Tanod and disrespected the responding policemen at Brgy. 67, Caloocan City.
The suspect has been in the country since 2015 together with his wife and children and has no regular work. Police are now coordinating with the Bureau of Immigration to check if the suspect has legal documents to stay in the country.
The suspect will be charged with resistance and disobedience to a person in authority and unjust vexation. He will be issued a traffic ticket for quarantine violations.
